Jack is a senior gelding who had been hidden by his owner and was just hours away from being picked up by a horse dealer. Jack would have most likely been sent to auction and then to slaughter. The Ohio SPCA immediately transported Jack to an equine hospital. His body score was 1 out of 9 which meant his fat and muscle stores had been depleted. Jack is blind in one eye, but he still has a lot of love to give. This boy has learned to trust humans again and he is receiving the care and love he has always deserved.
