In 2008, Morgan County’s dog warden, Jeff Driggs, resigned when it was discovered that he illegally disposed of thousands of carcasses of dogs he had shot in the head. In the 9-14-2011 Morgan County Herald, Commissioner Tim Vanhorn says Driggs “didn’t do anything wrong.” Commissioner Cain, in office in 2008 and STILL in office, agrees. Cain voted to retain Driggs in 2008. Are we going to see this all over again?
the trumbull county/warren animal welfare league (of which I’m not sure you’re affiliated with), refused any sort of help, advice, or guidance with my pet (cat) problem. the representative who addressed me was condescending, callous, apathetic, and in so many words told me “you’re on your own”. I could not possibly be more dissatisfied, offended, or upset with the way in which my situation was handled. Thankfully my pet is now healthy and recovered, NO thanks to the disrespectful, careless way in which I was received.
