Horses Saved from Slaughter

July 17, 2014

ANNIE is 32 years old and on Thursday, July 17, her journey to slaughter in Mexico was to begin. Instead of suffering through a 48 hour non-stop trip on an overloaded trailer and then dying by gunshot or a knife in her spine, Annie and 3 other horses were rescued by the Ohio SPCA. Annie, Fancy, Apollo, and Buttercup are safe now. The only journey with the Ohio SPCA is to the GOOD LIFE.

During the past 6 months, the Ohio SPCA has saved HUNDREDS of lives in rural Ohio including 37 horses. Dogs in hoarding cases were given a second chance along with goats, sheep, ducks, and rabbits. Please consider a tax-deductible donation so we can continue to help animals in need. We can't respond without your support!

Donations can be made through our website (www,ohiospca.org), Paypal (ohiospca@frontier.com) or via snail mail: Ohio SPCA P.O. Box 546 Grove City, Ohio 43123

The volunteer-staffed Ohio SPCA is no-kill and animals are safe with us regardless of age or special needs.

The OHIO SPCA is not affiliated with the ASPCA in NYC or any other SPCA..
