Ohio's Leading Voice for the Animals

Gertie and Billy were rescued in the summer of 2024 with their daughter Shirley Ann. Shirley passed in August of 2024 here at the farm.

Gertie passed in spring 2026 after sustaining a suspected injury to her neck. Despite the hard work of our local vet and the vets at Ohio State University's veterinary hospital, we were unable to determine the cause, find a cure, or make her comfortable enough to continue on, and so we gave her the grace of a lot of cookies, a strawberry parfait, and a gentle passing into sleep to meet up with her daughter Shirley.
