Scarlet's Story

Scarlet was just one of many abused animals rescued in 2019. She was underweight and infested with fleas and worms. Bloody pressure sores had resulted from being confined on a hard surface for an extended period of time. After Scarlet’s wounds were cleaned and treated, we placed her in a kennel with soft bedding. Her gentle eyes said it all. This sweet girl knew she was finally safe, warm, and fed.
