Ohio's Leading Voice for the Animals
Ohio SPCA Cruelty Investigators Assisted the Ross County Humane Officer
April 11, 2014
Swaps Days will return in June and the Ohio SPCA investigators will once again be monitoring the care of the animals. Swap Days are okay for selling treasures and wares, but living creatures should not be sold at such events.
The volunteer Ross County Humane Officer Young is trained and supported by the Ohio SPCA. The Ohio SPCA also assists in the removal, placement, and medical care of animals seized or surrendered in cruelty cases. Betty and Boop were immediately transported to OSU Veterinary Hospital. Betty gained 30 pounds in one month, and her baby is growing. All she needed was food!
Six of the seven ducks survived. Their infections have cleared and they are once again producing oil. They love basking in the warm sun and bathing in cool clean water.
