LIVING IN A SWAMP

Her life existed on the end of a heavy chain so tangled that she could not reach her collapsing dog house. Flooding from heavy rains threatened to cover the already muddy area she stood in. Her thin body was covered in fly bites and she had no food or water in the sweltering heat. The decision was made to immediately remove her. Humane Officer Archer managed to remove the collar attached to heavy logging chain and Eliza began her journey to freedom and a new life.
