Coping with COVID-19
April 2020
Coping with the COVID-19 virus situation has been hard on everyone. No one in the general public could have anticipated this happening to this degree. Although we hope that things are on an upswing, a return to “normal” is still far off. The Ohio SPCA is coping the best we can. We anticipate adoptions will soon resume with strict guidelines. We must continue to protect our dedicated staff and volunteers as well as the public.
We are so grateful for those who have been able to donate during this time. It’s scary to say the least when donations drop so drastically while injured and sick animals continue to arrive at the shelter. The animals still need you. We will get through this together.
We wanted to share pictures of some of our staff and volunteers who are hard at work caring for 300 dogs and cats every day. It certainly is a team effort.
