Journey

In 2017, Journey, who was 9 years old at the time, was sent to a kill pen by her previous owners. Horse slaughter is illegal in the United States, so horses are sent to Mexico and Canada to be killed. The Ohio SPCA brought this spirited girl to our farm sanctuary, where she has room to run with her pasture mate, Peaches, and get plenty of treats and attention. She will be able to live the rest of her life with us.
