BELMONT COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER

 

After receiving numerous complaints, The Ohio SPCA conducted an investigation regarding the issues and allegations pertaining to the Belmont County Animal Shelter. Representatives of the Ohio SPCA recently met with the Belmont County Commissioners, the Belmont Cty Prosecutor, Assist. Prosecutor, and a representative from the Belmont Cty Sheriff's Dept. We briefly discussed the findings of our investigation and the evidence gathered. Due to the nature of the findings, it was necessary to turn over all research and discovery documents to John Bell, attorney for the Ohio SPCA. At this time, we cannot release further information.
